The first season of The Traitors, hosted by Karan Johar, wrapped up in dramatic fashion. What began as a reality competition turned into a personal battleground, especially between two of its most talked-about contestants, Uorfi Javed and Apoorva Mukhija. The tension between them reached its peak in the final episodes and spilled over long after the cameras stopped rolling. Their heated arguments quickly made headlines, and even months after the show ended, neither seemed ready to back down.

Recently, Apoorva decided to break her silence on the matter once again. In a candid chat, she opened up about her experience on The Traitors and responded to a few lingering questions. As part of a game during the interview, she was asked to share the first thought that came to her mind when a contestant’s name was mentioned.

When Uorfi Javed’s name came up, Apoorva didn’t hold back. Without missing a beat, she said, “I have spoken about her in my story time, and I cannot give her more footage.” The response was sharp and left little doubt that the friction between them remains unresolved.

She called Jasmine “confused” as she feels Jasmine was confused in her gameplay. Hinting at Shudhangshu Pandey’s criticism that she didn’t give respect to Ashish Vidyanthi and called him by his name, she chose “Ashish Sir” for Ashish Vidyarthi. And for Shudhangshu Pandey she said, “No game”.

But the conversation didn’t stop there. Apoorva was also asked about whether she had ever been approached for Bigg Boss, the popular reality show known for its controversies and intense environment. Her answer was both honest and revealing. She admitted, “Yes. I mean, I always say ki never say never. So I would never say do something.” She went on to explain that the idea of being confined in a captive reality setup is overwhelming for someone like her. Apoorva revealed that she struggles with anxiety and overthinking, which makes such experiences mentally draining.

She confessed, “But I think just captive reality as a space is very anxiety-inducing, and as a person who already overthinks a lot and has anxiety, it’s just tough space to be in.” However, she didn’t entirely shut down the idea of participating someday. With a playful smile, she added, “But ab paise se kya hai upar duniya mein? Ab paisa hoga toh karlenge. Dekhte hai.”

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Apoorva has drawn comparisons between The Traitors and Bigg Boss. In one of her recent YouTube vlogs, where she sat down for a conversation with actress Elnaaz Nouruzi, the topic came up naturally. Apoorva openly admitted how difficult it had been for her inside the Traitors house.

Describing the experience, she said, “Being without your phones, not knowing, not having anyone to talk to, constantly being followed by your shadows, the wind chimes, constantly fighting with people, not having the food that you want to eat, it was all just too much.” Her words captured the mental strain that reality show contestants often face.

While she continues to be one of the most outspoken figures from The Traitors, her honesty about anxiety and the toll of confined reality formats resonates with many who have silently battled similar fears.
