Pluribus fans won’t have to wait until the end of the week to see how season one concludes. Apple TV has confirmed that episode nine — the season finale — will release early, shifting from December 26 to December 24.
The change comes as part of Apple’s adjusted holiday schedule surrounding Christmas Day and Kwanzaa.
This marks the second time this season the series has dropped early. Episode five was also released ahead of schedule during the Thanksgiving–Black Friday week.
You Can Watch It Even Earlier — Here’s How
Although the new release day is December 24, Apple TV traditionally makes new episodes available the night before at 9 p.m. ET.
This means viewers can actually begin streaming the finale Tuesday night, giving fans a festive early gift.
Palm Royale is the only other Apple TV series premiering next week, but its schedule remains unchanged as a Wednesday release.
Episode Nine — One of the Longest of the Season
The Apple TV app confirms the earlier release and reveals details about the runtime:
- Episode 9 length: 57 minutes
- Third-longest episode of the season
- Premiere episode: 59 minutes
- Episode 2 remains the longest at 1 hour 5 minutes
The ninth episode officially marks the end of Pluribus season one.
Season Two Already Confirmed
Fans can relax — the story won’t end here.
Apple ordered two seasons of Pluribus back in 2022, ensuring the series will return.
Its strong performance has only reinforced that decision, as Pluribus has quickly become Apple TV’s most-watched show to date.
