Actress Malti Chahar, who recently grabbed attention as a wild card contestant on Bigg Boss 19″, has made shocking revelations about her life outside the spotlight. In a recent interview, Malti shared deeply personal experiences of childhood abuse, parental conflict, health struggles, and emotional isolation.
Her revelations have left fans stunned and sparked conversations around mental health and trauma.
A Childhood Marked by Violence and Fear
Malti revealed that her childhood was far from normal. Growing up in a household where her parents frequently fought, she was often caught in the middle.
“Because I was the eldest, I saw everything. My brother escaped through cricket, but I had to endure it all,” she shared.
She disclosed that during moments of anger, both her parents would physically abuse her, without realizing the long-term emotional damage it would cause. Malti also revealed that her parents have been living separately for the last 13 years.
Dreams Crushed, Freedom Restricted
Malti admitted she always dreamed of becoming Miss India and building a career in acting. However, her father strongly opposed her ambitions.
Instead:
- He wanted her to become an IPS officer
- She was forced to focus only on academics
- She wasn’t even allowed to keep long hair until Class 11
These restrictions, she said, made her feel trapped and unheard.
Harassment in Small Towns and Silent Suffering
During her father’s posting in the small town of Suratgarh, Malti faced repeated instances of harassment and molestation.
However, fear stopped her from speaking up.
“I was scared they would blame me and restrict me even more,” she confessed.
The silence only added to her trauma, which she carried alone for years.
Living With Chronic Pain: Adenomyosis Diagnosis
Malti also opened up about her ongoing health battle. She revealed that since Class 7, she has been suffering from adenomyosis, a chronic gynecological condition.
Her condition includes:
- Severe pain during periods
- Frequent hospital visits almost every month
- No permanent cure
“Medicines give temporary relief but come with side effects. Even today, I live with pain,” she said.
Shockingly, Malti added that even inside the Bigg Boss house, no one fully understood or acknowledged her physical suffering.
Casting Couch & Industry Struggles
This isn’t the first time Malti has spoken about her hardships. Earlier, she had also revealed facing casting couch experiences in the film industry.
From her home to her workplace, her journey has been filled with struggles — yet she continues to stand strong.
A Story of Survival, Not Sympathy
Malti Chahar’s story is not just about pain — it’s about resilience. By speaking openly about abuse, illness, and emotional trauma, she has given voice to countless women who suffer in silence.
“Surviving is also a form of strength,” her journey silently proves.
