The recent controversy around the 19-minute viral video has once again dragged several women into online defamation. While YouTuber Payal Dhare was recently targeted, cyber police later confirmed that the clip was AI-generated and fake.

But the incident reopened old wounds for social media star Anjali Arora, who faced a similar ordeal years ago.

“That Pain Came Rushing Back” — Anjali Arora

A few years ago, a video was falsely circulated online claiming that Anjali Arora was featured in a leaked MMS. The claims went viral, causing severe damage to her personal and professional life.

Reacting to the current controversy, Anjali shared a deeply emotional post on social media, linking her past trauma to what Payal Dhare is currently facing.

Anjali Arora’s Emotional Post Goes Viral

In her post, Anjali wrote:

“Three years ago, I went through the painful experience of a fake MMS being circulated in my name. Watching the same thing happen to Payal Gaming brought all those traumatic memories back.”

She added:

“People don’t realise the impact of their actions. For them, it’s a minute of entertainment — for us, it becomes years of trauma. I lost several good projects because of these fake controversies and have faced constant professional backlash.”

‘Trolling, Abuse, Character Assassination’

Anjali further highlighted the mental harassment women face online:

“People use filthy language, ask obscene questions, call me degrading names, and troll without thinking for a second about the consequences. It’s terrifying how easily lies are believed and how quickly sympathy turns into hatred.”

She strongly stated that:

“No woman deserves to suffer because of someone else’s baseless lies or cheap curiosity.”

Pattern of False Accusations Against Women Influencers

Before Anjali, Payal Dhare and influencer Sweet Zannat had also clarified that viral MMS clips circulating online were not real and were either AI-generated or maliciously edited.

Anjali’s post has now reignited a broader conversation on:

  • AI misuse
  • Online harassment
  • Character assassination of women
  • Lack of accountability on social media

Her statement continues to go viral, with many users expressing support and calling for stricter cyber laws.
