Sangram Singh and Payal Rohatgi have long been familiar faces in the entertainment and public spotlight. Their journey has seen many ups and downs, both professionally and personally. Recently, their relationship was under the scanner when whispers of separation made their way into the headlines. Social media was abuzz, speculating that the couple was calling it quits. But Sangram was quick to set the record straight. With calm assurance, he told ETimes TV, “There is no talk of divorce between us. We have been together for 14 years and will always be.”

This came shortly after Payal stepped down from her position as director of the Sangram Singh Charitable Foundation, citing personal reasons. Her decision sparked assumptions that something was wrong. The news spread fast, creating a storm of concern among their followers. But despite the rumors, Sangram maintained that their bond remains intact. He stood by their relationship, brushing aside all speculations.

Beyond the noise of public opinion, the couple is quietly navigating a far more personal struggle. In a candid conversation with Zoom, Sangram revealed their ongoing challenges with surrogacy. Planning a family hasn’t been easy. They’ve faced obstacles, confusion, and setbacks that many couples silently endure. He admitted that they were unaware of how egg freezing could help women conceive later in life. Reflecting on the missed information, he said, “We didn’t know this before. So that’s one area where women have a slight biological disadvantage.”

Their surrogacy journey has not been smooth. Sangram explained how they have encountered misinformation, wrong guidance, and even questionable medical practices. Without naming anyone directly, he expressed concern over the rising number of unethical professionals in the field. He claimed that some doctors push couples into paying money for procedures they may not need. “We tried very hard, put in a lot of effort. I’m still looking for the right doctor so we can proceed with surrogacy the proper way,” he shared.

Their efforts have been genuine. They have invested time, energy, and emotion into this dream. But each time they take a step forward, something seems to pull them back. From meeting the wrong doctors to being misled, their path has been filled with frustration. Yet, their hope hasn’t faded. Sangram’s words carry the weight of patience, but also a silent determination to not give up.

The couple’s bond dates back many years. They got engaged on February 27, 2014, after being together for a while. Their wedding, held in July 2022, was a private affair surrounded by loved ones. Since then, they’ve kept a relatively low profile, focusing on their personal and professional goals.
