Actress Shreya Saran, one of the most talented stars in the Indian film industry, is currently celebrating the success of her recently released movie Mirai. In the film, she played the character of Ambika Prajapati. Alongside her professional achievements, Shreya has now opened up about her personal life and her love story with Russian husband Andrei Koscheev, a professional tennis player.

The couple is known for their adorable chemistry and never shy away from expressing love for each other, whether on social media or at public events.

How Shreya and Andrei First Met

While appearing on The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show to promote Mirai, Shreya revealed the surprising story of her first meeting with Andrei. She shared that it all began with a mistake during her Maldives trip.

Shreya said, “My diving trip was in April, but I mistakenly booked my flight in March. When I reached Maldives, I realized my blunder. I was alone and later found out that a beautiful yacht was heading south to Maldives that evening. It had a diving boat, so I joined. The sunset was breathtaking. I was scared as I didn’t know anyone. When I turned around, Andrei was standing right behind me — that’s how we met for the first time.”

Andrei’s Reaction to ‘Drishyam’

The actress further revealed that at first, neither she nor Andrei knew much about each other, but their bond grew stronger through diving and conversations. Eventually, they started dating.

Shreya added, “A few months later, Andrei watched my film Drishyam and got scared, wondering if I was like that in real life. But soon, love took over, and we became inseparable.”

Learning Russian and Family Life

When host Kapil Sharma asked if she learned Russian, Shreya laughed and said, “At first, I only learned the bad words. But now, with my daughter Radha Saran Koscheev, I’m learning the language properly.” She also revealed that Andrei understands Hindi quite well and loves Indian comedy shows.

The couple tied the knot in 2018, and since then, their bond has only grown stronger.
