The incident occurred in Rajasthan while filming a high-octane action sequence. During a stunt, Emraan reportedly sustained a serious internal abdominal injury, following which he was rushed to a nearby hospital.

According to reports, doctors found the injury to be severe enough to require immediate surgery. The operation was successfully conducted, and Emraan is now said to be out of danger.
