Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s lavish bungalow Mannat in Mumbai has landed in a fresh controversy. Claims have surfaced that the land on which Mannat stands actually belongs to the government. Alongside Mannat, luxury hotels including Taj Hotel and JW Marriott are also reportedly under scrutiny.

Viral Video Sparks Controversy

A video of former MLA Harshvardhan Jadhav has gone viral, showing him addressing a press conference with lawyers. During the briefing, he cited a 2013 CAG (Comptroller and Auditor General) report, claiming that Mannat and several other properties are constructed on government land.

According to Jadhav, the government has suffered huge revenue losses by not acting on this report for years. He further alleged that despite the findings, authorities failed to take necessary action.

High Court Issues Notice

Jadhav revealed that a PIL (Public Interest Litigation) has been filed, urging the government to recover dues and take action. The Bombay High Court has reportedly issued a notice asking whether the 2013 CAG report was implemented or ignored.

He stated, “Either the government must ask Shah Rukh Khan to vacate the bungalow or recover dues through proper advertisement and notices. The government should collect daily revenue and present it before the court.”

Trouble Ahead for Shah Rukh Khan?

The viral video has triggered a storm, raising questions about Mannat’s ownership. If the claims hold, Shah Rukh Khan could face serious legal and financial trouble. Mannat, known as one of Mumbai’s most iconic landmarks, attracts thousands of fans every year who gather outside to catch a glimpse of the superstar.

Recently, Shah Rukh was seen busy promoting his son Aryan Khan’s new series, but this unexpected controversy has now put his dream residence under the spotlight.
