A bizarre and disturbing incident has surfaced just before the release of War 2, starring Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan. The highly anticipated film hit theatres today, but one die-hard fan of Jr NTR has taken his devotion to a dangerous extreme, leaving onlookers stunned.

Applied Tilak with His Own Blood

In a viral video, a man can be seen cutting his own hand and applying a tilak on Jr NTR’s posters using his own blood. The video shows him enthusiastically marking multiple posters with the blood-tilak while surrounded by other fans celebrating the star. Interestingly, not a single Hrithik Roshan poster appears in the clip, sparking speculation about whether this incident is linked to War 2 or an earlier Jr NTR release.

About War 2

War 2 is the sixth installment in the YRF Spy Universe, directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra. With a massive budget of around ₹400 crore, it is being called one of India’s most expensive spy thrillers.

Star Cast:

  • Hrithik Roshan as Major Kabir Dhaliwal (returning from War)
  • Jr NTR as Vikram (Bollywood debut)
  • Kiara Advani as Kavya Luthra
  • Anil Kapoor as Colonel Luthra
  • Ashutosh Rana as Colonel Sunil Luthra

Record-Breaking Advance Bookings

The film’s advance bookings have been phenomenal, with pre-release ticket sales crossing ₹30 crore for day one alone. Releasing across nearly 5,000 screens, War 2 is being touted as one of the biggest Hindi releases ever. Trade analysts predict an opening day collection of ₹55–60 crore, potentially challenging blockbusters like Pathaan and Jawan. Independence Day weekend has further boosted demand, with both multiplexes and single-screen theatres running houseful shows.
