South superstar Rajinikanth’s much-awaited film Coolie is creating history at the box office. Within just two days of its release, the film has collected over ₹100 crore and shattered records of four major films released this year.
The film opened with a blockbuster response and entered the ₹100 crore club on its second day itself, making it the fastest film of 2025 to achieve this milestone.
Independence Day Boosted the Collections
According to Sacnilk reports, Coolie earned ₹53.50 crore on its second day. The film’s language-wise breakdown includes:
- Tamil: ₹44.5 crore
- Hindi: ₹4.5 crore
- Telugu: ₹15.5 crore
- Kannada: ₹0.5 crore
With strong occupancy of 80.70% in Tamil shows, Coolie benefited massively from the Independence Day holiday. As of now, the film’s two-day total collection stands at a staggering ₹118.50 crore.
