Sweet Zannat Breaks Silence, Calls the Clip ‘AI Deepfake’
On 28 November, Sweet Zannat released a clarification video, strongly rejecting all claims that the viral MMS features her.
She urged viewers to compare both videos closely and asked:
“Look carefully at me and look at the viral video. Do I look similar in both?”
She further explained:
- She barely passed her Class 12, yet the girl in the viral MMS speaks fluent English
- Facial details, voice tone, and expressions do not match hers
- The incident, although stressful, has unexpectedly increased her follower count
- She believes someone used AI tools to malign her reputation
“This is clearly an AI video. People should stop spreading lies,” she declared.
Why the Video Went Viral So Quickly?
Factors behind the sudden explosion of the clip:
- High engagement communities on Telegram and Instagram
- Curiosity-driven sharing without verification
- Rising cases of AI deepfake misuse
- Lack of awareness about digital safety
The Bigger Concern — AI Deepfake Misuse
This case raises important questions about digital privacy and the misuse of advanced AI tools. Deepfakes are becoming harder to distinguish from real footage, leading to:
- Reputation damage
- Cyber harassment
- Rapid misinformation spread
Cyber experts recommend:
- Always verify before sharing
- Report misleading or harmful content
- Support victims instead of sensationalizing
