In a vlog shared with their followers, the two revealed they had fallen victim to a serious financial scam. What made it even more devastating was the fact that the person responsible was someone they had known and trusted closely.
Puja, looking visibly emotional in the video, began by explaining why they chose to finally address the issue. Concern from their fans and well-wishers had been growing after a few cryptic updates from the couple. Puja shared that the past few months had been unbearably difficult. “These past two-three months have been extremely difficult for us, and I have no idea what will happen next. We have been a victim of a financial scam and we lost a huge amount of money,” she revealed, holding back tears.
The actress admitted it wasn’t easy for them to talk about it publicly. She confessed they were still in shock and finding it difficult to accept what had happened. Even though time had passed since the incident, the emotional wounds were still fresh. Puja described how the betrayal came from someone they treated like family.
The couple revealed that every bit of their savings was wiped out. Puja said the financial loss had left them shattered and they were now being forced to start from scratch. It wasn’t just about the money. The emotional betrayal from someone so close hurt even more.
