The much-loved comedy talk show The Great Indian Kapil Show made a grand comeback this Saturday with its highly anticipated Season 3 on Netflix India. Fans had been waiting eagerly for the premiere, and the makers ensured it arrived with a bang. The first episode featured none other than Bollywood superstar Salman Khan as the celebrity guest, bringing his trademark humour, candid confessions, and effortless charm to the stage.

While Salman’s presence was a highlight in itself, the return of Navjot Singh Sidhu was what truly grabbed attention. Sidhu, who had once been a permanent face on the show, stepped away a few years ago following a political controversy. But this season marks his much-talked-about comeback alongside Archana Puran Singh, the current queen of the laughter chair. The duo, sharing screen space after years, instantly added a nostalgic touch to the episode.

Kapil Sharma wasted no time in pulling playful jabs at both Sidhu and Archana. Their banter flowed smoothly, picking up where it had left off. The chemistry between the old team felt natural and entertaining, giving fans of the show a sense of familiarity mixed with fresh energy.

As expected, Salman Khan took over the stage with his wit and humor. During the episode, Archana Puran Singh brought up the topic that has followed Salman for decades, his marriage. When she asked whether he ever got tired of such questions, Salman responded with a sharp, funny remark. He said, “Main humesha kehta hu ki mere shaadi kar lene mein aapka kya faeda hai? Kya aapko maza aa raha hai ki main aapke liye suhagrat mana raha hu? Mai kya kar raha hu jisme aapko itni khushi horahi hai ki main barbad hojau.”

The audience roared with laughter, and Kapil Sharma quickly picked up the cue, continuing the teasing. Salman spoke about the rising divorce rates and how trivial reasons like snoring often lead couples to split. He added with a chuckle that “Phir divorce toh chalo hogya, woh aadhe paise bhi toh le jaati hai.”

The conversation soon turned towards relationships and loyalty in today’s times. Salman pointed out how in recent years, relationships don’t seem to last the way they once did. Using his trademark sarcasm, he joked that if a partner suddenly starts losing weight, it might mean they have their eyes on someone else. He didn’t stop there and threw in a playful dig aimed at Archana Puran Singh and her actor husband, Parmeet Sethi.

With a cheeky grin, Salman teased, “I am seeing two people here who have gotten very fit, and they seem to be eyeing someone, Bittu (Parmeet), buddy, be careful. Aaj kal koi nibhata nahi hai bhai, Parmeet is mahaan. Nibhaane ka devta hai yeh. The playful jab left the audience in splits while Parmeet, sitting in the crowd, laughed along.

Archana quickly defended herself, saying that loyalty wasn’t one-sided and that she too had been dedicated to making their marriage work. Salman nodded in agreement, acknowledging her contribution to their lasting relationship.

The episode balanced humor, nostalgia, and warmth. The camaraderie between Salman, Kapil, Sidhu, and Archana brought back memories of the show’s golden days. The jokes were light-hearted but sharp, and the audience soaked up every moment.

With this lively start, The Great Indian Kapil Show has set the tone for an entertaining season.
