The Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi universe is officially back and it’s bigger, bolder, and bursting with drama all over again! Ekta Kapoor’s legendary daily soap, which once had the entire nation glued to their television sets at 10:30 PM sharp, has made a triumphant return with Season 2.

While the iconic duo Tulsi and Mihir played by Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay continue to deliver powerhouse performances, the next-gen storyline is bringing in the spice. And at the center of the current chaos? Young Pari, her forbidden romance, and a certain Mr. Ajay.

The New Guy in Town: Nirvaan Anand Joins the Chaos

The makers have introduced a brand-new character, Ajay, played by Bhagyalakshmi fame Nirvaan Anand. Described as the son of Mihir’s close business associate, Ajay is poised, responsible, and has “green flag” energy written all over him. But of course, this is Kyunki, so nothing is ever that simple.

In the upcoming episodes, Pari who was madly in love with her charming but shady boyfriend Rannvijay is about to get a rude shock. Apparently, love isn’t always what it seems, and Rannvijay might just a “red flag”. After realizing her mistake, Pari will reluctantly agree to an arranged marriage with Ajay

Tulsi’s Motherly Instincts vs. Mihir’s Papa Bear Outburst

Pari may not be a biological Virani (as reports suggest both she and Angad are adopted), but her emotional bond with Tulsi and Mihir runs deep. That’s why Tulsi doesn’t hesitate to tell Mihir that their daughter is in love with someone else and that pushing her into a forced marriage might just crush her spirit.

Naturally, Mihir doesn’t take the news lightly. He lashes out, asking Tulsi why she didn’t catch the signs earlier. He marches to Pari’s room, ready to lay down the law. But just as he’s about to explode, he’s hit by a rush of memories his little girl’s giggles, her school days, her innocent smile. And just like that, the anger melts away.

He returns to Tulsi, apologizes for losing his cool, and requests Pari to invite her mystery man over for a proper meeting.

Angad and Pari: Outsiders With Insider Problems?

One of the most intriguing angles in the new season is the revelation that both Angad and Pari might not be blood-related to the Viranis. In a subtle yet powerful moment, Pari tells Angad, “We’ll need to bring more gifts… because we’re different from the rest.” The line hits hard and hints at potential future friction within the family hierarchy.

The show cleverly uses these layers to question whether love, loyalty, and lineage always have to align or if emotional bonds can be stronger than blood.
