The untimely death of Shefali Jariwala on June 27 left the entertainment world in shock. Best remembered as the vibrant Kaanta Laga girl, Shefali’s sudden passing created a void in the lives of those who knew and loved her. She suffered a cardiac arrest at home and, despite immediate efforts, was declared dead upon reaching the hospital. Her body was later sent to Cooper Hospital for postmortem. Family, close friends, and fellow actors gathered to bid her a final farewell as her last rites were performed by her husband, Parag Tyagi.

The grief-stricken Parag Tyagi has been trying to cope with this heartbreaking loss by holding on to the memories they built together. He has turned to social media, sharing old pictures and videos of Shefali, moments that once brought them joy.

However, not everyone received this tribute with kindness. Some internet users began targeting Parag, accusing him of seeking publicity through his personal tragedy. His latest post faced severe trolling, with several people suggesting he should remain silent and avoid posting so soon after her passing.

Refusing to stay quiet, Parag decided to respond to the criticism. In an emotional note, he addressed the negativity and made his stand clear. He explained that Shefali always cherished the attention and warmth she received from her fans. She loved being on social media, and it brought her immense joy to stay connected with those who admired her. Parag admitted he was never someone drawn to social media himself, but now that Shefali resides forever in his heart, he feels a responsibility to keep her spirit alive through the same platform she loved.

He firmly stated his intentions, writing, “This account is dedicated to her only. And want to cherish her lovely memories by sharing with her wonderful fans who deserve to see her more and forever. I don’t care about the judgement u negative people having. I don’t care about u but I do care about all the lovely people who loved her still love her and will always love her. I am going to cherish her memories with all of u.”

This wasn’t the first time Parag had opened up about the depth of his grief. In an earlier post, he had written a moving note, describing Shefali as a kind and giving person. He spoke of her as a devoted wife, a loving daughter, a protective aunt, and a loyal friend who touched many lives with her warmth and generosity.

Shefali’s death sent ripples across the entertainment community. Friends from the industry rushed to pay their respects at her funeral. Familiar faces like Rashami Desai, Arti Singh, Paras Chhabra, and Shehnaaz Gill were present to offer their condolences and bid a final goodbye.

Though grief often brings loneliness, Parag finds strength in the community of well-wishers and loyal fans who continue to honor Shefali’s memory. As he navigates through personal loss and public scrutiny, his message remains clear, the love Shefali received in her lifetime will not fade, and her memories will be kept alive, shared with those who cherished her then, now, and always.
