Every Saturday evening, viewers eagerly wait for new episodes of The Great Indian Kapil Show. The comedy talk show, dropped its fourth episode on Saturday, 12th July. This week’s episode was packed with stars and surprises. It brought together some of the finest talents from the OTT world — Vijay Varma, Jaideep Ahlawat, Pratik Gandhi, and Jitendra Kumar. The episode was a mix of humour, stories from the past, and conversations about fame.
The show opened with the guests joining Kapil Sharma on stage. From the start, laughter filled the room. The actors were candid and spoke openly about their lives before acting. They shared stories from their childhood, family backgrounds, and how they stumbled upon acting as a profession. None of them held back. Anecdotes about their struggles, odd jobs, and the feeling of stardom once it arrived made for an entertaining and heartfelt chat.
Kapil, known for his quick wit, teased them often. In between the jokes, the stars spoke about what fame feels like in the digital age. Each guest shared moments from their careers that left the audience clapping and laughing in turns. Their unfiltered banter, paired with Kapil’s effortless comic timing, kept the episode lively.
Towards the end, the show took an unexpected turn. International artist Jackson Wang was called on stage as a surprise guest. The Korean rapper, loved worldwide for his music and energy, brought an instant burst of excitement. He greeted everyone warmly and wasted no time in winning hearts with his singing. His energy and charm lit up the stage.
Kapil then pulled Jackson’s leg about his friendship with Bollywood actress Disha Patani. Bringing up Jackson’s last visit to India, he mentioned how Jackson was spotted riding a chariot with Disha. Kapil cheekily asked whether they were just friends or something more. Jackson laughed and admitted, “Only friends.”
The conversation soon turned toward Jackson’s popularity in India. Kapil informed him that many Indian girls adore his songs and admire him. Surprisingly, Jackson denied this with a simple, “Never.” When asked why he felt this way, Jackson explained his recent experience in the country. He revealed, “I’m coming to India for the second time. And on this trip, I went to three clubs.”
Curious, Kapil asked what happened there. Jackson shared, “I walk and they look through me.” He described how no one paid attention to him at the clubs. Kapil joked that perhaps it was too dark inside for people to notice. To this, Jackson chuckled and replied, “No, I’m pretty white. You people can see me.”
He went on to say that whenever people did recognize him, it was usually to ask for autographs for a friend, not for themselves. Jackson confessed, “So, maybe this is my last visit to India. I am so sad.” The audience reacted with surprise, and Kapil, not ready to let the moment turn dull, quickly acted. He asked everyone in the crowd to raise their hands if they were Jackson Wang’s fans. Seeing the entire audience with raised hands, Jackson teased, “Very good actors.”
Despite the playful complaints, Jackson seemed to enjoy his time on the show. Before signing off, he joined the actors and Kapil for an impromptu dance session. He danced with Vijay, Jaideep, Pratik, Jitendra, and even did some bhangra moves. The lively performance wrapped up the episode on a cheerful note. It was a mix of humor, heartfelt conversations, and spontaneous fun, the kind of episode audiences look forward to.
