Dipika Kakar, one of television’s most loved actresses, has finally returned home after a challenging and emotional hospital stay. The actress was admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital for over a week following a major surgery for stage 2 liver cancer. News of her illness had left her fans, family, and friends deeply concerned. Now, after 11 difficult days in the hospital, Dipika has been discharged and is back with her family.

She took to her social media to share a heartfelt note, opening up about her health and the experience. In her post, Dipika confirmed that she is now free from the tumour but made it clear that this was only one phase of her treatment. She wrote, “11 Days of being here and now home… Free from the tumour… but this is one part of the treatment done… remaining will follow in the coming time… and mujhe yakeen hai I will sail through that too as I said before.”

Those 11 days in the hospital were not easy for her. Dipika expressed that while the suffering was real, the warmth and care she received from the hospital staff made the tough days a little smoother. She mentioned in her note that, “Ye 11 din mushkil the but because of the amazing ppl we had around… things went smooth… there was suffering but it was all handled with a lot of warmth by everyone at the kokilabenhospital.” Her gratitude extended to the team of doctors, naming Dr. Somnath Chatopadhyay and his team including Dr. Kanchan, Dr. Neha, Dr. Sanket, Dr. Manek, and Dr. Kavita, whom she described as not only skilled professionals but kind-hearted people too.

Dipika also didn’t forget to acknowledge the nurses and support staff who cared for her during this difficult phase. She individually thanked Dr. Sharmeela, Dr. Bushra, and several nurses like Sister Akshara, Nupur, Pragati, Shasheeka, Anupama, Ashna, and Jijin, appreciating their constant attention and kindness. She said it was their love and care that helped her find the strength to recover and return home.

The actress highlighted how receiving treatment surrounded by empathy and warmth sped up her healing process. She believed that recovery becomes easier when handled with such compassion. Dipika expressed how each small gesture during those difficult days made a big difference.

Even though a long road lies ahead, Dipika remains positive and strong. She requested her followers to keep her in their prayers, hoping for a smooth recovery through the upcoming treatments.
