The Great Indian Kapil Show has built a reputation for blending sharp humor with candid celebrity confessions. Its behind-the-scenes moments are proving to be just as entertaining as the episodes themselves. A recent clip, shared by Kapil Sharma on his YouTube channel, caught fans’ attention as it featured cricket stars Rishabh Pant, Yuzvendra Chahal, Abhishek Sharma, and their coach, former cricketer Gautam Gambhir. The conversation quickly turned playful as the guests shared locker room secrets and took lighthearted digs at each other.

One of the most amusing exchanges came when the group was asked whose anger was more dangerous Virat Kohli’s or Rohit Sharma’s. Without much hesitation, Chahal picked Rohit Sharma. The response drew loud laughter from everyone on the set.

The segment only got livelier when Kapil threw a cheeky question at Chahal, asking what’s harder to predict, a bowler’s delivery or a girlfriend’s mood. In his signature polite style, Chahal said it was tougher to read a bowler’s ball. His response caught Kapil by surprise, as he expected a different answer. Without missing a beat, Chahal asked him to quickly move to the next question. Navjot Singh Sidhu couldn’t resist teasing, remarking, “This means he is an expert in other things more than cricket.”

Rishabh Pant, known for his spontaneous humor, fired back at Sidhu’s remark, suggesting that the real expert in such matters was Kapil himself. Kapil, ever the comic, laughed it off with a joke, keeping the energy high.

The episode’s most nostalgic moment arrived when Sidhu brought up an old incident involving Rishabh Pant and legendary cricketer Sunil Gavaskar. In a match some time ago, Gavaskar had openly criticized Pant’s dismissal at a critical stage, calling him “stupid, stupid, stupid” live on air. Pant, showing both wit and good humor, later turned the incident into an advertising opportunity, appearing in a commercial alongside Gavaskar where he cheekily repeated the same line. Speaking about it, Pant smiled and said, “We were just sharing love.”

Not one to miss a chance at a playful jab, Sidhu steered the conversation toward Gautam Gambhir. In a teasing tone, he commented, “Gautam also doesn’t get involved in small fights, he take on big fights.” The remark was a clear reference to Gambhir’s history of heated exchanges with players like Shahid Afridi, Kamran Akmal, and most recently, Virat Kohli. When Kapil tried to get Sidhu to elaborate, he amusingly refused to go further, leaving the audience chuckling.

Gambhir, however, wasn’t about to let Sidhu have the last word. Later in the segment, Kapil posed a question to him about what he liked more, Sidhu’s cricket commentary or his poetic shayaris. Without a second’s pause, Gambhir answered, “his shayaris,” adding yet another round of laughter to the evening.

Sidhu, who now shares judge duties with Archana Puran Singh on the show’s new season, brought his trademark humor and punchy one-liners throughout the shoot. The easy camaraderie between the guests, combined with Kapil’s effortless hosting, turned the behind-the-scenes clip into an instant fan favorite.
