Popular comedian and host Bharti Singh has finally opened up about her income from YouTube and TV. Known for her witty hosting and comic timing on television, Bharti is now ruling the digital space with not one but two successful YouTube channels. Her first channel has over 7.78 million subscribers, while the second boasts more than 3 million followers.
60% Earnings from TV, 40% from YouTube
In a candid conversation with Raj Shamani, Bharti revealed, “60% of my income comes from TV, and 40% from YouTube. Honestly, I couldn’t believe at first that you could even earn money by uploading simple videos like mic cleaning.”
However, she admitted that the difference is huge — “What I earn in a single day from television, I make in an entire month from YouTube.”
Husband Haarsh Pushed Her Towards YouTube
Bharti credited her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa for guiding her towards the digital platform. She shared, “Haarsh made me understand that TV won’t last forever, but YouTube will. Initially, I couldn’t figure out how it worked, but soon I started enjoying it, and then the earnings followed. I’ve realized that if you’re dedicated and consistent, YouTube rewards you equally.”
Staying Grounded Despite Fame
Even with her success, Bharti remains grounded. She added, “I may travel in business class and stay in five-star hotels, but I still eat food with my hands. I am the same old Bharti. I often feel like going back to Amritsar, but the busy life of Mumbai keeps me tied up.”
