Move over saas-bahu sagas, it’s time for some jodi jeopardy! The all-new reality show Pati Patni Aur Panga – Jodiyon Ka Reality Check is here to tickle your funny bone, test real-life chemistry, and make you believe in #CoupleGoals. Premiering on August 2, the promos alone have sent fans into a frenzy.
Monu and Sonu Are Your Hosts
In a casting twist that no one saw coming, Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui joins hands with timeless beauty Sonali Bendre to host the show. What makes this pairing even more adorable? The fact that they call each other “Monu” and “Sonu” on screen. Expect witty banter, cheeky digs, and a host duo you’ll want to binge-watch even without the contestants.
The Star-Studded Jodis
The show’s heart, of course, lies in its celebrity couples.
We’ve got the OG lovebirds Hina Khan and Rocky Jaiswal, the parenting pros Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee, and the politically outspoken duo Swara Bhaskar and Fahad Ahmad. Also gracing the screen are Avika Gor and Milind Chandwani, fresh off their engagement buzz, the beloved Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla, comedy king Sudesh Lehri and wife Mamta, and wrestling royals Geeta Phogat and Pawan Kumar.
From compatibility games to relationship roasts, these couples are set to bare it all, the sweet, the sour, and the full-blown pangas.
Avika & Milind
While all the jodis are making headlines, it’s Avika Gor and Milind Chandwani who recently announced their wedding plans, teased fans by keeping the actual date under wraps.
“Yeh saari information aapko milegi hamare pehle episode mein,” said Avika with a playful smile when quizzed about their D-day. That’s right folks, you’ll have to tune in if you want the scoop.
Talking about how she just knew Milind was the one, Avika gushed, “Mujhe toh bahut hi jaldi aisa feeling aana shuru ho gaya tha… he is the right man for me. He’s kind, understanding, and just really nice. This is exactly what I was looking for.”
Milind, of course, had his own sweet tale to share, though it came with a generous dose of humor. “Yeh bas friendzone kar diya, yeh story leke baithi hai,” he laughed. He confessed it took him six months to express his feelings, but over the last six years, she’s given him “1000 reasons” to fall in love every single day.
Her kindness, he said, won his heart. “She’s done so much for my students at the NGO, for my parents, and for her family. She’s smart, and I love our conversations about life, work, everything. Spending my life with her sounds like a lot of fun.”
With a quirky format, celeb glamour, emotional highs, spicy arguments, and tons of laughter, Pati Patni Aur Panga is shaping up to be the guilty pleasure you’ll be proud to flaunt.
