Thalapathy Vijay is back to captivate his fans as the first song from his upcoming film Jan Naayakan, titled ‘Thalapathy Kacheri’, was officially released on Saturday. Composed by Anirudh Ravichander, this electrifying track features vocals by Vijay and Arivu, blending powerful beats with emotional lyrics that celebrate Vijay’s deep bond with his fans.
Soon after the release, TVK (Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam) supporters flooded the streets of Madurai, dancing and waving posters of Vijay in a festive frenzy. The atmosphere resembled a grand celebration, proving yet again the superstar’s unmatched fan following.
Shekar’s Choreography Brings Back Vijay’s Iconic Dance Moves
Choreographed by Shekar, the music video pays tribute to Vijay’s legendary dance moments from his blockbuster films — Ghilli, Thuppakki, Mersal, and Master. A new poster released on Wednesday evening features Vijay standing confidently amidst cheering supporters, donning a simple blue shirt and sunglasses — a look that exudes charisma and leadership.
Earlier in June, as part of Vijay’s birthday celebrations, the makers had released the first teaser titled ‘First Roar’, a 65-second clip that begins with Vijay’s powerful line: “You will live in my heart forever.”

The teaser showcases Vijay in a police uniform, wielding a baton, and walking through chaos — symbolizing both destruction and determination. Directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Venkat K Narayanan under KVN Productions, Jan Naayakan is set to hit theatres on January 9, 2026. The film is expected to clash at the box office with Prabhas’s upcoming epic ‘The Raja Saab’.
