The Raksha Bandhan holiday proved lucky for Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur’s Son of Sardaar 2, as the film witnessed a significant jump in collections on its ninth day. On the other hand, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri’s Dhadak 2 continued its underwhelming run, failing to capitalize on the festive boost.

Since its release, Son of Sardaar 2 had been struggling to draw crowds, despite multiple promotional pushes by the makers. However, Raksha Bandhan brought some relief.
According to Sacnilk reports, the film collected ₹4.00 crore on Day 9, taking its total to ₹38.25 crore. The overall occupancy stood at 35.14%, with morning shows at 5.54%, afternoon at 24.74%, evening at 51.18%, and night shows peaking at 59.08%.
Dhadak 2 Box Office Report
In contrast, Dhadak 2 continued its downward trend. Even the festive weekend failed to provide the much-needed push.
The romantic drama managed just ₹1.40 crore on Day 9, bringing its total collection to ₹18.70 crore. The film’s occupancy was recorded at 28.30%, with 6.84% in morning shows, 19.29% in the afternoon, 38.91% in the evening, and 48.17% during night screenings.
