Television personality and Bigg Boss 13 fame Shefali Bagga has raised serious concerns over public safety after a shocking incident of open firing outside YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav’s home in Gurugram.
On Sunday, Shefali Bagga took to her Instagram Story and strongly criticized the lack of police presence and security measures.
She wrote, “I am shocked beyond words at what has happened. And now, where is the police? Where is the security, the media, the authorities for support? These types of firings keep happening in our city, and we talk about freedom and security? Stay strong, Elvish.”
Elvish Yadav reassures fans after incident
Earlier in the day, Elvish Yadav also addressed the matter on Instagram, assuring his followers about his family’s well-being. “I would like to extend my sincere gratitude for your good wishes. My family and I are safe and well. Your kind thoughts and concern are truly appreciated. Thank you,” he wrote.
According to Gurugram Police, the firing occurred early morning around 5:30 AM in Sector 57, Gurugram, when three masked assailants opened fire outside Yadav’s residence. Reports confirm that over a dozen rounds were fired, though Elvish was not present at the house during the attack.
Police statement on the firing
Sandeep Kumar, PRO Gurugram Police, confirmed the incident stating, “Three masked miscreants opened fire outside the residence of YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav. The incident took place at around 5:30 AM. More than a dozen rounds were fired. Elvish Yadav was not at his residence at the time of the firing.”
The shocking event has sparked debate on rising security concerns in the NCR region, with fans and celebrities alike demanding strict action.
