The Malayalam film industry is mourning the loss of senior mimicry artist and actor Pala Suresh, who was found unconscious at his rented house in Kerala. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Initial medical reports confirmed that the 53-year-old artist suffered a heart attack in his sleep.
Cardiac Arrest in Sleep
According to reports, Suresh was discovered unconscious at his residence in Piravom, Ernakulam district. Despite immediate medical attention, doctors at the hospital pronounced him dead. The preliminary medical examination revealed that he suffered a sudden cardiac arrest while asleep. He had been under treatment for heart-related ailments at Kottayam Medical College for some time.
A Legacy in Mimicry and Cinema
Pala Suresh was a household name in Kerala, widely recognized for his spot-on mimicry of political leaders, especially former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. His career spanned over three decades in stage performances, television comedy shows, and films. He earned appreciation for his work in the 2013 Malayalam hit ABCD: American-Born Confused Desi.

Beyond his professional achievements, Pala Suresh leaves behind his wife, Deepa, and their two children, Devanand and Devakrishna, who are now grappling with the sudden loss.
