Veteran actor Mukesh Khanna has openly criticized Jaya Bachchan’s frequent rude encounters with the media and fans. Over the past few months, several videos of Jaya Bachchan scolding journalists and showing irritation at public events have gone viral, sparking debates among netizens.
Mukesh Khanna’s Strong Reaction
Speaking to FilmiGyan, Mukesh Khanna expressed disappointment at Jaya Bachchan’s behavior. He said,
“Nowadays, the way she talks to journalists—‘Who are you, what are you doing, what do you want?’—is wrong. She must remember that the media plays a big role in her public image. Sometimes it feels like she deliberately wants to pick fights. Even in Parliament, her statements often look unnecessary. I feel she shouldn’t behave like this.”
Khanna further hinted that Jaya Bachchan’s remarks against the government and Prime Minister Modi appear intentional, which he finds problematic.
Viral Reactions from Fans
As soon as Khanna’s statement went public, it quickly went viral on social media. Fans are divided—some supporting him, saying he is “absolutely right,” while others feel he is being too harsh. One user commented, “What is happening in Bollywood? At this age, senior actors are roasting each other!”
Notably, Khanna himself has been in controversies before, when he called the cast of Mahabharat “fools,” sparking a heated debate.
Currently, the video of his remarks on Jaya Bachchan is circulating widely, grabbing everyone’s attention.
