Malti Chahar—actress and sister of Indian cricketer Deepak Chahar—made headlines with her bold and confident presence as a wild-card contestant on Bigg Boss 19.
But now, after exiting the house, Malti has shared a shocking revelation about an incident from her early days in the film industry.
The actress, who debuted in Anil Sharma’s film Genius, revealed that she had been a victim of casting couch at the hands of a director old enough to be her father.

Malti disclosed that during a professional meeting with the filmmaker, things took an uncomfortable turn.
Recalling the moment, she said:
- The director gave her a side hug while she was about to leave
- During that hug, he suddenly leaned in to kiss her on the lips
- Malti pulled away immediately
- She never met him again after the incident
She further said:
“People judge you by your body language and background. My father is an Air Force officer, and maybe that kept others from crossing limits. But this one incident is something I can never forget.”
The experience taught her one important lesson:
“Not everyone deserves the respect you give them as a father figure.”
