Ahmedabad: A tragic plane crash shook the city of Ahmedabad today, killing at least 200 people and leaving the entire nation in mourning. As the incident made headlines, Bollywood actress and Member of Parliament Kangana Ranaut expressed her deep sorrow over the loss of lives.

The Air India Boeing Dreamliner 787 was carrying 242 passengers when it crashed shortly after takeoff from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport. The crash occurred around 1:38 PM near the Meghani Nagar residential area. Rescue operations are currently underway by teams from NDRF, BSF, and the Indian Army.

Following the tragic crash, emergency response teams, including NDRF and local authorities, launched a massive rescue and relief operation. The wreckage of the aircraft was found near densely populated Meghani Nagar. Initial reports suggest that the aircraft lost control minutes after takeoff from Runway 23.

Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the crash, while authorities continue to recover bodies and search for survivors. The airport has temporarily suspended other flights to facilitate emergency operations.

The plane crash occurred near Meghani Nagar, close to the takeoff point at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad. The area is densely populated, raising concerns about possible collateral damage on the ground, though no ground fatalities have been reported so far.
