After days of public outrage and investigation, police have arrested the accused responsible for creating and circulating the fake AI-generated clip.

Kajal’s Mother’s Heartfelt Plea

Kajal’s mother made an emotional appeal to the public, urging people to stop trolling her daughter and show empathy.

“I am Kajal Kumari’s mother. Please think—if your own mother, sister, or wife saw such a video, how would you feel? I request everyone to support my daughter in this difficult time.”

Her heartfelt message struck a chord with thousands of fans, who began trending #JusticeForKajalKumari across social media platforms.

Police Action: Accused Identified and Arrested

Following Kajal’s complaint, an FIR (Case No. 726/25) was registered.
On November 7, police arrested Chanchal Kumar alias Chanchal Badmash, the son of Vinod Baita, in connection with the fake video’s creation and spread.

  • The investigation confirmed that the viral clip was 100% AI-generated.
  • Several other Bhojpuri actresses, including Priyanka Pandit, Shilpi Raj, and Sambhavna Seth, have also been victims of similar deepfake videos.

Kajal shared an update on her Instagram, saying:

“Justice will be served soon. What goes around, comes around.”
