He breathed his last on Friday morning, August 22, 2025, at Fortis Hospital, Mohali, after battling illness for a long time. His last rites will be performed on Saturday, August 23, in Mohali.

News of Bhalla’s passing has left fans and colleagues heartbroken. According to media reports, he had been unwell for the past few weeks and was undergoing treatment at the hospital. Despite medical efforts, he could not recover. His family has not yet released an official statement.
