Pakistani actress and model Humaira Asghar Ali, aged 32, was discovered dead in her flat in DHA Phase-VI, Karachi, on July 8. Shockingly, police reports suggest that her body had been decomposing for nearly two weeks before it was found.
Neighbors reported a strong odor from her apartment and alerted the police late at night. Officers arrived at around 3 AM and, after receiving no response, broke open the door—only to find Humaira lying lifeless on the floor.
Father’s Cold Response: “Do Whatever You Want with the Body”
The most disturbing aspect of the case emerged when police contacted Humaira’s family. Her brother redirected them to their father, retired Army doctor Asghar Ali, who chillingly responded, “We cut ties with her long ago. Do whatever you want with the body. We will not receive her remains.”

According to Pakistani media, Humaira had been living alone for the past few years. Sources from Geo News report that she was last seen several days before her body was discovered. Her neighbors grew suspicious after not seeing her for a while and noticing a foul smell from her apartment.
Police suspect it to be a natural death as per preliminary findings, but have sent the body for post-mortem to determine the exact cause. The official investigation is currently underway.
