Former Miss Universe runner-up and Bollywood star Celina Jaitly, known for her bold on-screen roles, stepped away from films after marriage to focus on her family life.
However, her personal life has now resurfaced with shocking allegations.

Case Filed Against Husband Peter Haag

Celina has lodged a domestic violence case against her husband Peter Haag, an Austria-based businessman.
The case was filed before the Judicial Magistrate First Class at Andheri Court, Mumbai.

Key Allegations Include:

  • Physical and emotional cruelty
  • Mental harassment
  • Domestic violence under the DV Act

She has demanded ₹50 crore as compensation, along with claims for loss of income and property.

“This has been years of emotional torment. I finally decided to speak up,”
— Celina reportedly conveyed in her plea.

Marriage, Children, and Family Tragedy

Celina and Peter married in 2011 and share a large family.

Their Children:

  • 2012: Twins — Winston and Viraj
  • 2017: Second set of twins — Shamsher and Arthur

Sadly, Shamsher was born with a congenital heart condition and passed away shortly after birth — a family tragedy Celina has discussed publicly in the past.

Celina’s Brother Also in Controversy

Recently, Celina was in news regarding her brother Major (Retd.) Vikrant Jaitly, who she claims was illegally detained in the UAE in September 2024.

She appealed for urgent legal and medical assistance for him.

“My brother is being held without due process. I seek justice and transparency,”
— Celina stated earlier.

What the Indian Government Said

MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal confirmed that Indian officials are actively assisting:

  • Embassy visited her brother four times
  • Consular support is being provided
  • Legal help is being ensured as per procedure

The Delhi High Court has also directed authorities to ensure her brother receives full legal aid.
