Hungarian model and actor Barbara Palvin has revealed her ongoing health battle, sharing that she has been diagnosed with endometriosis and has recently undergone surgery. In a heartfelt Instagram post, she detailed her experiences, aiming to raise awareness and encourage others facing similar struggles.

Barbara shared, “For some years now I’ve been dealing with the difficulties that can come with my periods — fatigue, severe pain, heavy and irregular flow, sleepless nights on the bathroom floor. I thought this was just how it works for me.”

Diagnosis After Years of Struggles

Despite yearly gynecological checkups, Barbara only recently discovered that her symptoms were linked to endometriosis — a condition where tissue similar to the uterus lining grows outside the uterus, causing chronic pain and complications.

She wrote, “Endometriosis can’t be diagnosed with general examinations. After consulting a specialist, I finally got answers and underwent surgery. Since then, I experienced a much easier period, and now I know the difference.”

Barbara encouraged women to seek proper medical advice if they suspect endometriosis, emphasizing the importance of early diagnosis and treatment.

Road to Recovery and New Beginnings

After three months of rest and healing, Barbara expressed gratitude for her recovery and optimism about returning to work. “Early diagnosis and treatment are very important to prevent long-term complications. I’m excited about this new chapter and more mindful about my body,” she shared.

The model also posted pictures from her hospital stay, including one in a gown and another showing bandages post-surgery, receiving immense support from her fans.

Dylan Sprouse on Marriage and Support

Meanwhile, her husband Dylan Sprouse spoke about their marriage in an earlier interview. He credited Barbara with teaching him patience and communication. “Marriage has taught me that communication really is key. It’s about understanding you’re both human, and now every decision is about what we do together,” Dylan shared.
