A wave of excitement swept through the Ghazipur Literature Festival as the teaser of the much-anticipated Bhojpuri film ‘Bakalols’ was officially launched. This upcoming movie, rich in desi humor, raw emotions, and heartfelt storytelling, will stream this December on the Stage OTT platform as a Stage Original release.
A Story Rooted in Real Life and Humor
Written by acclaimed author Satya Vyas, ‘Bakalols’ beautifully blends humor with human emotions. The film has been produced by Siddharth R. Yash and directed by Nishant C. Shekhar, featuring stellar performances by Manoj Tiger, Ravi Sharma, Inder Singh, Ashok Manjhi, Harshita Upadhyay, and Riya Nandani.
The film narrates the story of Eastern UP’s youth — their dreams, struggles, and everyday realities, all portrayed with a touch of natural comedy. It’s a heartfelt journey of ordinary people who stumble, laugh, and rise again — a mirror of real life wrapped in humor.

Actor Manoj Tiger, who plays a lead role, described ‘Bakalols’ as “a breath of fresh air in Bhojpuri cinema.” He said,

The film’s Director of Photography is Prashant Chandrashekhar, with Moziz Sen composing the background score and Vishal Singh handling the editing. According to Sneha Singh, a representative of Stage OTT,
