In a tragic incident, well-known social media influencer Asfiya Khan died in a road accident near Panvel on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. Four others sustained serious injuries in the crash.
According to police reports, Asfiya was critically injured in the accident and was immediately rushed to MGM Hospital in Panvel. Despite doctors’ efforts, she was declared dead upon arrival. The other injured victims are currently undergoing treatment.
Police Investigation and Cause of the Accident
Panvel Taluka Police arrived promptly at the scene after receiving information about the crash. The accident involved a Toyota Urban Cruiser (UP 32 MU 2287) driven by Noor Alam Khan.
Preliminary investigation suggests the vehicle was speeding and lost control, flipping over three to four times before coming to a halt. Eyewitnesses described the car as “completely wrecked” after the incident.

Hailing from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, Asfiya Khan was a rising Instagram star with over 233,000 followers and more than 1,000 posts. She was known for her lifestyle reels, trend-based videos, and brand collaborations. Her sudden demise has left her followers heartbroken, with many paying tribute on social media.
