The much-awaited action thriller “War 2”, starring Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan, has set the box office on fire, collecting a staggering ₹142.6 crore in its opening weekend.
Released on Thursday, the film also features Kiara Advani in a key role and marks the Bollywood debut of Jr NTR. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the movie is the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War.
Day-Wise Collection Report
According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the film opened with ₹52 crore on Day 1, followed by ₹57.35 crore on Day 2, and ₹33.25 crore on Day 3, totaling ₹142.6 crore in just three days.
Regional Language Performance
Out of the total box office earnings, the Hindi version contributed ₹99.5 crore, the Telugu version added ₹42.2 crore, while the Tamil version collected ₹0.9 crore.
With these massive numbers, “War 2” is on its way to becoming one of the highest-grossing films of 2025, setting high expectations for the weeks ahead.
