In a conversation on YouTube channel Eat Travel Repeat, Sunita recalled her most cherished outing with Govinda. She said it was when the actor took her to Taj Hotel for the first time.
The evening became even more special as it was the first time Govinda decided to have champagne. But before taking the sip, he did something that touched her heart—he sought his mother’s permission.
Govinda Asked His Mother Before Drinking Champagne
Sunita revealed, “When Govinda took me to the Taj for the first time, we ordered champagne. Before opening the bottle, he went to his mother and asked, ‘I am going to drink for the first time, should I?’ I was waiting eagerly for the champagne to be opened, but he went to take permission from his mom first.”
She added that the moment was endearing and reflected Govinda’s respect for his mother. Now, as their son Yash is growing up, Sunita hopes he too follows the same values.
