“Property Causes More Fights Than Money,” Says Anupam
Speaking on The Powerful Humans podcast, Anupam Kher shared the deeply personal reason behind his unusual housing decision.
“When a person passes away, fights often begin over property, not money,” said Kher.
He mentioned how elderly people have told him stories about being forced out by their own children or being manipulated into signing away their properties.
“These issues haven’t occurred in my family, but I prefer to be cautious,” he added.
No Control Over Stepson Sikandar, Says Anupam
During the conversation, Anupam Kher also touched upon his relationship with his stepson Sikandar Kher, son of his wife Kirron Kher from her previous marriage.
“Sikandar is an independent man. I never try to control or guide his business decisions,” said the veteran actor.
He believes that today’s generation should be allowed to learn from their mistakes rather than being micromanaged by parents.
